What is "Fair Trade"?

Everyday when we go to the shop we buy lots of things - but we hardly think about how they are produced. Do the farmers get fair prices for their products? How are the working conditions for the workers? Do their children have any persepectives for a better future? ...

We concentrated on this topic for quite a while and prepared pp-presentations on Fair Trade products.

First we had to find out what Fair Trade means and which Fair Trade products can be purchased in our shops. Then the students chose one to be presented.

This was a challenging job but we definitely learned a lot!
