Halloween Lesson in Class 2a On the last day of school before the holidays, class 2a had a very special English lesson - all about Halloween. Everyone was very excited because it was the last lesson before the autumn holidays. We started by talking about the history of Halloween. The students learned that Halloween comes from an old Celtic festival called Samhain, when people believed that ghosts came back to visit the Earth. We also talked about traditions like trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, and dressing up in costumes. After the short history part, we listened to spooky stories and everyone made a Halloween drawing. Some students drew ghosts, witches, and black cats, while others painted pumpkins, haunted houses, and bats. The classroom looked very colourful and spooky!
Then it was time for a game. We played bobbing the apples. The students laughed a lot and cheered for each other. Everyone showed great team spirit and energy.
At the end of the lesson, we enjoyed some sweet treats—gummy candy and chocolate. It was the perfect way to celebrate before the holidays. The Halloween English lesson was full of laughter, creativity, and fun. The students learned something new, practiced their English, and went home with big smiles on their faces.
